It may sound strange but when you think about it, if you take out the cart, checkout process and ‘buy now’ buttons, WooCommerce is actually the perfect platform upon which to showcase a catalog of products which aren’t currently for sale online. The added beauty of this solution is that when you do want to start selling, you can do so with the flick of a switch.

This plugin also allows you to configure your store to require users logon before users can add items to the cart, and optionally see prices. This is great if you want to allow users to view products in your store, but require a logon before they are able to see prices and purchase the products.  Excellent for business to business sites who need to only allow certain users to purchase products and view pricing.
